Milestones and Scoring
Resolve the three midgame Milestone checks, then calculate final victory points.
Milestone timing
Score Milestones after rounds 3, 5 and 6. Each Milestone card has separate thresholds for those three checks. At each check, place the matching I, II or III tile on one available Milestone: your personal card or a common card. Meet the first threshold for its lower value or the second threshold for its higher value. A Milestone card may be scored only once by a player.
At setup, each player gets a personal Milestone through a reverse-order draft; the two remaining cards become common. In solo, place three of four drawn Milestones as common and return the last card to the box.
Final scoring after round 6
Add these categories:
- Experts: score 2 points for the fourth and fifth Expert in each column, and 1 point for each Mission Coordinator. Follow the printed Pilot/Mechanic scoring on the selected Expert Action Tiles; unused Pilot and Mechanic tiles are worth 2 points each per the designer FAQ.
- Expedition Track: score all points shown on spaces reached.
- Station Sites: add points printed on your built sites.
- Stations: add points shown for Stations removed from your Tableau.
- Upgrades: add points shown for Upgrades removed from your Tableau.
- Adjacent upgraded Stations: lose 3 points for each of your Upgraded Stations directly adjacent to another of your own Upgraded Stations.
- Expedition Cards: add printed end-game points in your deck.
- Project Cards: score Projects in play, including their conditional end-game effects.
- Milestones: add points on your scored Milestone tiles.
Some Meteorites add Presence-based final points or other rewards. Check the chosen Meteorite’s text. Highest total wins; ties go to the player with more Coins. If still tied, share the victory.
Designer errata and FAQ
The designer’s 20 October 2026 FAQ corrects a Milestone label on page 17: “engineers” should read “experts.” That Milestone counts the three preprinted Experts and all purchased Experts (Mission Coordinators, Pilots and Mechanics); icons printed on cards do not count. The FAQ also states that an unused Pilot or Mechanic scores 2 points.
