Floors, Milestones and Shops
Open new floors, resolve floor cards, claim milestones and expand the advanced shop.
Opening a new floor
Four barriers block the lower mine. When you remove one, reveal the floor card under it and resolve its On reveal effect. Then move your mech down to that floor at no movement cost. The card stays face up for the rest of the game.
Floor cards
Floor cards have four possible mandatory triggers:
| Trigger | When it resolves |
|---|---|
| On reveal | Immediately when a barrier opens that floor. |
| When excavating a corridor | After you excavate a corridor on that floor. |
| When collecting a mineral | Whenever you collect a mineral from that floor. |
| End of Operations | If your mech is on that floor when you finish Operations. |
Resolve the printed effect whenever its trigger occurs. The rulebook FAQ confirms that all floor-card effects, including Hot Tub and Rad Bath, are mandatory.
Milestones
Each progress track has three milestone lines. The first player to cover each line takes its token and keeps it for end-game points. Each other player immediately takes the credits or cards shown on that token.
The player who triggers the end of the game also takes the final milestone, worth 18 points. In solo, the bot can claim milestones; see Solo: Corporate Bot.
Advanced shop expansion
When a player opens floor 4, add the two Advanced cards reserved under that floor’s card during setup to the Advanced shop. It now shows four cards for the rest of the game. If refreshed after it expands, reveal four new Advanced cards.
This is a base-game progression rule; it is not a separate expansion.
