Tips & Strategy
Plan routes around aircraft limits, weather and objectives.
Plan the route around range and risk
Count the whole turn’s route length before taking off; several short flights still use the same range allowance. Keep a fuel and endurance buffer for the worst dice on the path, especially before a sea crossing where an interruption can become a crash.
Match the aircraft to your plan
Raid aircraft can help reach Great Firsts, while passenger and cargo capacity supports income and delivery objectives. Change aircraft when the next objective needs a different range, load or technology profile, and check the pilot’s technology competence before committing to an upgrade.
Take useful objectives
Prefer routes that overlap with hubs and cards already in your hand. An unfinished objective costs Glory at the end, so avoid collecting several long routes without a realistic plan to finish them.
Protect the aircraft
Crew and system abilities can reduce weather costs or improve capacity. Save one-use effects for a die that would otherwise force an interruption; remember that system and crew purchases are not refunded when discarded.
Learn with the Basic variant
The Basic variant removes the Operations board and standard/expert equipment. It is a shorter way to practice route movement, delivery and weather before adding the full action-selection and upgrade system.
