Cards & Components

Identify the boards, cards, tiles, tokens and icons used in Air Postal.

Component counts and rules follow the publisher’s Air Postal rules and player aids, the Ad Austral rules, and the publisher’s corrected Ad Austral card fronts.

Boards

To be added. The game includes a double-sided map board (World Map / Atlantic Map) and an Operations board. The setup aid identifies the board selected for the chosen setup.

Cards

The base set includes City, Objective, Cargo, Passenger, System, Crew, Aircraft, Pilot and Setup cards. The publisher errata corrects Objectives from 81 to 79 and setup postcards from five to four. Air Route, VIP Traveller and Diplomacy objectives have distinct conditions and end penalties; read the individual card before taking a route or passenger risk.

Ad Austral adds City, Air Route, VIP, Crew, System, Aircraft, Pilot and setup cards. Its publisher-provided corrected card-front sheet is linked above. The sheet clearly identifies corrected aircraft including Potez 25 (cargo value 3), Junkers Ju-52/3m, Pander S-4 Postjager and Blériot 5190; the rulebook errata corrects Oceania routes to 10.

Tiles

To be added. There are no tile faces in the core set.

Tokens & pieces

The core game supplies Hub rings, player markers, cubes, aircraft pawns, cockpit boards, card dispensers and weather dice. Ad Austral adds fifth-player pieces and yellow weather dice.

Icons

To be added. The map and player aids distinguish land and water routes, airfields, big cities, customs, embassies, weather and aircraft types. Consult the NOTAM and the icon printed on the component before resolving a rule.
