Game End and Scoring

Watergate ends immediately when either role meets a clear victory condition.

Winning

Watergate has no points tally. Nixon wins immediately when a fifth momentum token is placed on the Administration card. Nixon also wins during evaluation if the supply is empty when the new round’s momentum token must be placed on zero.

The Editor wins immediately when at least two face-up informant tiles have continuous routes to Nixon’s central picture through face-up evidence tokens. An empty space or face-down token interrupts a route. Check for a completed network after any card effect or token placement that can create it.

Final scoring

There is no final scoring phase and no tie-breaker. The first victory condition reached ends the game. If both sides’ conditions could be met from a resolving effect, finish the card’s instructions and apply the immediate win triggers in the sequence defined by the current rules; see the publisher-confirmed FAQ for the supply-empty condition.
