Game End and Scoring

Convert the final markets, business network, and reputation into savings.

End of Year 6

Complete all three phases of the sixth year, then score. [Westward] With the expansion, the H.R. Department or Year 8 ending replaces the base ending; see the expansion rules.

Final profit margins

For each livestock type, subtract its final price from its meat value and add that margin to every player’s Savings, even if that player did not slaughter that type in Year 6. A negative margin reduces savings. Follow the rulebook’s scoring order and do not treat Savings as spendable cash.

Reputation and business

Rank players on Brand Reputation. In a 3–5 player game, the top three earn 9, 6, and 3 savings; in a 2-player game the leader earns 5. If markers share a position, the marker higher in the stack ranks ahead.

Each Branch House scores according to the connections serving its market: 4 savings with two connections, 2 with one, and none without a connection. Add the printed end-game value of each Building and Specialist card. Apply the Low Morale penalty printed on each player board.

Winner

The highest Savings total wins. Break a tie with Brand Reputation; if still tied, the marker higher in the stack wins.
