Learn Stamp Swap
Learn the game in 5 short steps. Everything links to the full rules.
Learn the goal
Collect stamps and attendee cards, then sort each new batch into two piles. Other collectors choose one pile; you keep the other. Arrange stamps in your fixed album grid and earn points from exhibits and contests. After three rounds, add stamp values, specialist points, the forever-stamp majority, and the Finale contest. Highest score wins.
Learn the components
Your player mat is an album with a 12-by-12 grid and a built-in exhibitor. Stamps have different shapes, colors, themes, and values; canceled stamps have no value, while rare gold stamps have value but no color or theme. Specialist and exhibitor cards affect collection or scoring. Contest cards set rotating goals. Events change the pool or round. The component guide lists each family.
Learn a round
A round has Collect, Swap, and Show. Collect items one at a time until you have six. Reserve one item, split the others into two nonempty piles, then take turns choosing another player’s pile. In Show, place cards and stamps, score exhibitors, the first-player token, and one contest you have not entered before. Friday and Saturday lead into another event; after Sunday, hold the Final Show.
Learn to arrange
A stamp must fit upright in empty album spaces; once placed, it cannot move. If an item cannot fit, discard it and immediately gain or lose points equal to the stamp’s printed value. Long tiles showing two small squares contain two stamps for scoring and theme/color grouping, though they are one physical tile. A contest may reward connected groups, separate groups, sizes, shapes, album geometry, or diversity.
Learn the finish
After the Sunday Show, score forever stamps by rank, then add every stamp value, 2 points per specialist, and the Finale contest. A 2-player game also compares forever stamps against an imaginary collector with three. Ties in that category award tied places and skip the next rank. If the game score ties, compare total rare-stamp value; otherwise share victory.
