Game End and Scoring

The five final scoring checks after the last Unification reward.

The game ends after the fifth round’s Unification reward. Add the points you recorded during play to these categories:

1. Governor majorities

Score each region separately. The player with the most Governors there scores 10 / 15 / 20 points in a 2 / 3 / 4-player game. If players tie for the majority, split that region’s points evenly, rounding down.

2. Alchemist cards and ship

Multiply the number of Alchemist cards in your player-board tableau by the highest point value your ship reached on the elixir route.

3. Mausoleum rows and columns

Score 10 points for every complete row or column of your Terracotta Soldiers, regardless of which scoring spaces those soldiers occupy.

4. Walls

Score each Wall using its position and the condition on the matching Wall tile. The condition may count regions containing a particular official, card type, building, or set of cards. A Wall scores even if you have no other Wall in that site.

5. Soldiers still at the entrance

Score 2 / 5 / 9 points if you have 1 / 2 / 3 or more unlocked Terracotta Soldiers still at the Mausoleum entrance.

Palaces score when built, not again at the end. Governor and Wall tile bonuses are also taken when earned; do not score those tiles twice. If the final total ties, the tied players share the win.

See the Cards & Components appendices for the pictured Wall scoring conditions, and the Teach page for the scoring summary.
