Do card triggers only work in the region where the card was tucked?
No. A matching Court action can trigger any card in your tableau. The effect may still be limited to the card's region: a small black arrow on the ability marks that restriction.

Does every card ability affect only the region where the card was tucked?
No. Read the ability's location symbol: a small black arrow means the effect applies in that card's region. Without it, follow the card's wider wording or choose a region if the effect allows one.

Must I take a Court action if I cannot complete it?
You must choose a Court action you are able to perform and complete it. If you cannot take an action, choose another legal one.

Can a Governor bonus place workers or cards where their usual action requirement is missing?
Follow the specific bonus icon. A green check means the usual requirement is waived; a printed arrow or location icon still restricts where the pieces go.

How do tied players resolve a Unification reward?
Use the current priority order: markers still on the turn-order track rank from top to bottom, followed by markers already in the current round's reward column from top to bottom. The first eligible player may accept or pass; continue down the tied ranking if needed.

How many Unification tokens remain after the reward phase?
Return all unused value-2 tokens to the board. Then keep up to five value-1 tokens; return any extras to the supply.

When can I move an unlocked soldier from the entrance to a Mausoleum tile?
At the end of your turn, after accepting a Unification reward, or during the soldier-unlocking step of the reward phase. The game ends only after the entire fifth-round reward phase is complete.

Does the free soldier placement on a Unification reward score the Mausoleum space? Official
Yes. Score the points on the occupied Mausoleum space when the reward places the soldier.

Does the Palace tile that scores cards add Unrest once or once per card?
Add one Unrest total, then score two points for each of your cards in that region. You cannot take the tile if that region is already at Unrest 3.

If a Wall tile checks for an official or building in each region, do multiple copies in one region score separately?
No. Each region counts at most once for a condition that checks whether you have at least one qualifying piece there.
