When can I use a Free action during my turn? Official
A Free action can be used before or after each Potency spent, including between Transmutations within one turn. A Board&Dice representative clarified this timing in this BGG ruling.
Can Extra Potency pay for my whole Main action?
No. Spend exactly one Extra Potency before the Main action, and still spend at least one Potency from the active die. Extra Potency cannot be used to take an Experiment.

Can I activate more than one Artifact in a turn?
No. You may activate at most one ready Artifact per turn, after fully resolving a Transmutation in its section. Taking an Artifact resolves its immediate effect separately.

Does a Theory tile score if its Publication section is incomplete?
No. A Theory tile scores only when every icon in its Publication section is covered. Multiply the printed Theory value by that section's Publication value.

What if I gain an Element but have no matching or Wild space left?
An Experiment without an available matching or Wild Publication icon gives 1 VP instead. With Expert Study, use its matching available space and printed reward instead.
