May I perform the action of another building site in my active line? Official
No. Other buildings in the active line can produce resources, but you take only the action printed on the site you activated.

How many posts and goods may I establish or buy during a Marketplace turn? Official
Place at most one disc as a post that turn. You may then buy one good from each city where you have a post, plus one from each additional city you reach by spending a camel.

Does the camel-market caravan reward let me take several cards? Official
No. Place one camel on an uncovered matching slot, then take one caravan card within your influence limit. Take its camel if present and refill the row if possible. You may use only one camel-market slot per turn.

Do I pay cubes for a courtier or wall granted as a mosque boon? Official
No. Pay only the resource cost for advancing along the mosque track. Any boon reached, including a courtier or wall, is free. The camel-market mosque boon works the same way.

Must I take the Library action to make a breakthrough? Official
No. Gain a breakthrough immediately when you reach an even total of scrolls, however you gained them.

Can I choose which available bonus upgrade to place? Official
Yes. Choose any bonus upgrade that has not already been placed.

What if the Corrupt Magistrate cannot find a valid slot for its intended site type? Official
Discard that solo card and draw another. If the replacement intended type has an available slot, the Magistrate follows its usual priorities.

Do cinnamon and pepper pairs give the Corrupt Magistrate white cubes or upgrades? Official
They score 3 points each for the Magistrate. The ordinary player still receives the normal pair bonus: a white cube for cinnamon and a white upgrade for pepper.

Can I place a wall segment in a middle gate space? Official
No. Only a gate may be placed in a space marked for a gate.

May I fulfil more than one contract during the same turn? Official
Yes. You may fulfil multiple contracts in one turn, including multiple cards from the same stack, as long as you meet each card’s influence requirement and can pay its requirements.

Does the first breakthrough discount apply once per action or once per turn? Official
It discounts one resource in total per turn. It does not discount once for each card, courtier, good or advancement you take in that turn.

Can two different players share the same space on the Mosque track? Official
Yes. The Mosque track is not exclusive between players, but each player may have only one disc on the track.

Can I use the first breakthrough discount to pay an invasion ransom? Official
No. The discount may be used once during your turn, and an invasion happens outside players’ turns.

Can I activate a High Courtier building in the solo game? Official
Yes. When you activate a High Courtier building, treat the three colours in play as in a three-player game: matching buildings generate resources for you, while the High Courtier does not collect them.

What if the supply of scrolls or goods runs out? Official
Treat scrolls and goods as unlimited; the designer confirmed that players may take more when the physical supply is exhausted.

Does a soldier placed during year one disappear at that year's scoring? Official
No. There is no invasion after the first year, so a soldier placed then stays until the invasion at the end of year two unless it is removed earlier to place an upgrade.
